Message From Oklahoma AgCredit Board of Directors Chairman
On behalf of the Oklahoma AgCredit Board of Directors, I am informing borrowers and others that CEO Patrick Zeka, notified me, as Board Chair, on March 31, 2023 that he decided to resign his role as CEO after 30 years of service in the Farm Credit System. We understand it was a decision he had been considering for a period of time, and he wishes the Association great success for the future. The Board has met and has accepted his resignation.
Patrick has been with the Association for approximately 15 years and has served the last 4 years as our CEO. During that time, the Association enjoyed considerable success. That success is attributable to Patrick, our executive team, and all of our other employees, who do their best every day to make it all work. We appreciate his years of service and friendship and wish him nothing but the best.
The Board is happy to announce that Steve Davenport, our Chief Credit Officer, has accepted the Board’s request for him to serve as acting CEO while the Board works hard to find our next CEO. While we will certainly miss Patrick, we welcome and appreciate Mr. Davenport taking on important duties, as he leans on the credit team to provide support for his Chief Credit Officer role.
We wish Patrick nothing but the best and the Board will work diligently to find a great CEO to lead us in serving our stockholders and fulfilling our mission of being an exceptional source of agricultural funding.
